I LOVE this spot. If anyone EVER wants their session at the weeping willows, I'm there! I've also always wanted to do a maternity shoot here, because it's just so soft and beautiful. I love the movement and dappled light that these tree limbs have to offer. Chef's kiss! So after this childhood friend contacted me for a maternity session, I was like willows, maybe? And to my delight, she said yes! Let me say, too, that I am always so happy to meet up with friends from years past. It makes me feel really young again (middle school flash backs!) and really old, too. (How did we get here so fast?)

 Anyway, this gorgeous lady is expecting a baby girl. CONGRATS! We played, snuggled, and had treats among the willows. Little man wasn't feeling photos so much on this night, but I always promise parents that the shots look amazing in camera. I know it can feel like total chaos when you're the parent of the children being photographed. I'm catching the in-between sweetness and the moments that are hard to see when you're in it. We're not there for perfection, but rather to capture your family as it is, which is waaaaay lovlier than "perfect". Also- look at this little guy! He's so sweet and handsome!!
