Rainy Day Newborn Session

Imagine this- your perfect little newborn all bundled up, snoozing for almost the entirety of their photo session. There’s a summer storm going on outside, the perfect conditions to stay in, holding your sleepy little guy. Your gentle giant of a pup keeps cautiously approaching to check on this new family member of hers. She’s curious, loving, and calm. There’s nowhere to be, just here with your little family, in your lovely home as the beginning of a new chapter is being documented by your photographer…me!

This was the above session to a tee. It was such a chill morning, and this baby was so peacefully content. Are all newborn sessions like this? No. There are so many times that baby is unhappy for a multitude of reasons. Sometimes this can be a quick fix. Does he or she need to eat? Go for it! Want me to leave? Ok if I stay? Do you want photos of you nursing your babe? Anything you want and need are a-okay. You get to call the shots while I get the shots! Do I need to leave and come back a bit later? A different day? I’m telling you, I am one flexible lady. I want the experience to be as easy on you as possible. Always!
