Newborn Session

I’m always so honored and delighted to be invited into someone’s home, spending time with them and their newborn. That opportunity is never lost on me! There’s something about it being your FIRST, too- the newness of it all, learning all things baby with your partner, the different kind of love you experience once your little one is here. It’s all very exciting! (and exhausting…but mostly exciting!)

My newborn style is all about…you got it! Connection. I love and admire the images that photographers take where babe is all bundled up and looking like a magazine cover, but truly, the images that make my heart pitter patter are the ones where mom and dad are straight up loving on their baby. I could shoot a bajillion family snuggly photos! Along with these, I love to focus on details- tiny hands and feet, baby’s hair (or lack thereof! :), the nursery, the looks on the parents’ faces, the pets, the siblings…it’s all so special and unique, and it showcases your story as a family.
