Third Birthday Session- Madison, AL

This is another family I have photographed since little man was a teeny tiny newborn. I have loved watching him grow and thrive each year as I take his birthday photos and Christmas portraits, too! He is super smart and also one of the most polite three year olds I’ve ever met. I always love to hear is sweet, raspy little voice say “Hi, Mrs. Holly!”

For this session, we chose the Mill Creek Greenway on a beautiful, sunny morning. This location incorporates trails and water, so this was perfect spot for this rock throwing dude! What did he want to do the entire time? Throw rocks. And you know what I say? Go for it! I have my sneaky ways of weaseling in and snagging portraits and capturing precious moments with mom and dad, as well as his grandparents that were in town. The morning consisted of duck and goose spotting, throwing rocks, a lollipop break, throwing rocks, admiring Grandpa’s “big red truck”, throwing rocks, tickles, snuggles, and you guessed it…throwing rocks!
